Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy Release Date Set for May 17 only on PS3 and Xbox 360
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has appeared in recent hours in the lists of American chain store Best Buy: according to reports, the package will be available in the US from 17 May at a price of $29.99.
Activision should launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Trilogy on May 17, a compilation including the three parts of the series of Modern Warfare. Indeed, according to a list of the online sales site Best Buy, this compilation would be available only on Xbox 360 and PS3, and not on the latest consoles of Sony and Microsoft.
The collection includes Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (with DLC Stimulus Pack) and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, all gathered in one disc. It was not immediately clear if Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy will be released in Europe, we are still awaiting for updates about it.
One can always hope for backward compatibility on Xbox One. Contacted by GameTransfers on this point, however, Activision has not given any news about it.
It also remains to see the option of HD remake of the first Modern Warfare, proposed in four special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, whose release is scheduled for November 4 this year on PC, Xbox One and PC.
As the online action is concerned, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare promises to surprise with its stunning action, and with a world in which every second counts. The multiplayer features an evolution in what the movement system is concerned, with special emphasis on what happens on the front line. In addition, Infinite Warfare will include an original Zombies cooperative mode that takes players on a wild ride through a new story with unique features and game mechanics.
