Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Announced With Crossplay Support, First Trailer Revealed
Activision today announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. If you do not know, it’s the latest installment of its popular series of first-person shooters, which is developed by Infinity Ward. One of its most interesting elements is that, unlike Black Ops 4, this adventure will have an intense and visceral campaign.
Through a new trailer on the Call of Duty YouTube channel, Activision gave us the first look at Modern Warfare. In this story, players will be involved in a conflict that affects the balance of global power. As you imagine, this will take you into a provocative and obscure narrative that seeks to reflect the harsh reality of modern warfare.
In the missions of COD: Modern Warfare we will see the return of Captain Price, as well as participate in missions with international special forces. An important detail is that in each of them we will have the opportunity to choose if we want to use them tactically or if we will be brutal and violent soldiers.
Without further ado, we leave you with the first trailer of COD: Modern Warfare below:
It is striking that in the revelation, Activision did not confirm which platforms Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will reach. That said, it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Battle.net).
Also, the new installment of the series will have crossplay support, so you can play with both known and strangers without needing to be on the same platform. On the other hand, although not much information was given about it, the game will have a system of shared progression with the campaign and the new cooperative mode.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available on October 25, 2019.
