Call of Duty games will support PS4 Pro at launch
Activision has announced that the franchise of Call of Duty will support PlayStation 4 Pro, the new console of Sony, since its day of launch.
Present at the PlayStation Meeting 2016 in New York which was in full swing, Activision took the opportunity to announce that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 would be compatible with the PS4 Pro, a news that should certainly delight fans of the series.
The company said the upcoming games of Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered will take advantage of the technical capabilities of visual fidelity of the hardware to deliver higher quality and better performance. Andy Hendrickson of Activision confirmed that the two games will take advantage of the additional power of the PS4 Pro GPU and its higher bandwidth.
Playstation 4 PRO uses a more powerful hardware, based on technology of AMD Polaris, which allows to reach the 4K resolution, and take full advantage of the HDR effect.
Despite being launched on 4 November, a few days before the console, both will be immediately compatible with the console and present improvements for those who buy the PS4 Pro console.
But that’s not all, when PlayStation 4 Pro goes on sale, Black Ops III will also receive a patch that will add support for the console. The sequence of gameplay is offered in the video shown at the bottom of this news:
