Activision and Sony give PlayStation 4 players the upcoming weekend the possibility to play Call of Duty :Black Ops 3’s Awakening DLC for free. The promotional campaign will run from Friday, April 1, at 10AM PST until Monday, April 4 at 10AM PST.
Activision has announced that holders of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for the PS4 version will be able to try out the maps from the Awakening DLC over the weekend for free. In this way, they will receive temporary access to four additional multiplayer maps (Gauntlet, Splash, Rise and Skyjacked) and the level of Zombie Experience. The action will start tomorrow April 1 and will end on Monday, April 4 at the given time above.
However, the owners of the PS4 will not only have a reason to spend the next few days on the game in the Call of Duty: Black Ops, but this weekend an event of Double XP and Double Weapon XP is also planned – on all platforms – which will allow players to advance twice as fast. It runs the same time as indicated above.
Later this week, the second DLC for Black Ops 3 is going to be unveiled, which will then probably appear as free already in the next week.
