Borderlands 3 Will Support 4K & HDR Output on PS4 Pro

If you are a PlayStation 4 Pro user and among the games you expect Borderlands 3, you might surely want to know what will happen at the graphics deployment level with the new Gearbox Software title and, fortunately, the studio has confirmed the options available for the Sony hardware.

During an interview published on PlayStation Blog, Scott Velasquez, responsible for online product and social environment of Borderlands 3, talked about the graphics performance that the game will have on PS4 Pro. Initially, the manager praised the work done by the development team with Unreal Engine 4 for this new installment and he was surprised by the way the creatives managed to polish down to the smallest detail so that the title looks amazing.

Subsequently, Velasquez confirmed that Borderlands 3 will have support for 4K and HDR in PS4 Pro, in addition, that users will have some options to select the best graphics and visual display according to their needs. This means that Sony console players will be able to select a lower resolution but with a better frame rate per second or, conversely, a significant increase in resolution, but with a frame rate limited to 30. Of the same, the manager said that in 1080p resolutions the work is of high quality and users will enjoy the world of Borderlands 3 at 60 FPS in the best way.

Borderlands 3 will release on September 13 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
