Borderlands 3 for PC Won’t Have A Split Screen

Borderlands is a saga that since its launch has stood out for its frantic cooperative action that is great in split screen. That is why we believe that one of the reasons why you are excited for Borderlands 3 is to have fun locally with your friends. Unfortunately, you will not be able to take advantage of that option if you will play the game on PC.

Today a new trailer of Borderlands 3 was released. In it, we saw a bit of cooperative action on the split screen. Seeing this, PCGamesN contacted 2K Games to learn more. Given this, the distributor replied that the option will only be available on consoles.

“Borderlands 3 will support two-player split-screen on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One,” said 2K Games, omitting any mention of the PC option.

If you have played other Borderlands games on PC you know that this situation is nothing new. In fact, both Borderlands and Borderlands 2 was limited with the cooperative to local consoles. So, those who want to take advantage of this option on PC are required to install a mod. We imagine that the community of modders is already thinking of developing this option for Borderlands 3 on PC.

Borderlands 3 will release on September 13 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And you, what do you think about this? Would you have liked Gearbox to develop this option for the PC version of the game? Tell us in the comments below.
