BioWare explains Mass Effect: Andromeda Multiplayer Beta cancellation

In response to reactions to news of the cancellation of Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer beta, BioWare developers have apologized to fans of the franchise who expected to test the game in advance and explained why it was necessary to suspend the trial technique.

In this regard, producer Fernando Melo said on Twitter: “Sorry, we will not have a multiplayer technical test. I know many were looking forward to it (as were we). Long story but right decision for how close we are to live.” Melo also reported that earlier this year, the company already performed a closed Alpha that was tested on consoles, so the game has already been tested in real conditions.

The producer reported that Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer “has already had the biggest user tests we’ve ever done.” So these statements would be confirming the theory that suggested that BioWare had decided that a Beta was no longer necessary, and that the suspension was not due to technical problems.

For their part, those attending the PAX East event, which will be held this month in Boston, will have the opportunity to play the multiplayer. In addition, subscribers of EA Access or Origin Access will receive the full game on March 16, a few days before the official release, which is scheduled on the 21st of the same month.
