Bethesda Announces ‘Prey’ Reboot, Releasing in 2017

Bethesda Softworks has finally announced the return of the Prey license through a reboot of the franchise through Arkane Studios, the developer of Dishonored. A first trailer has been released for this title expected for next year.

10 years after the original episode (which also had suffered a tumultuous development), the franchise of Prey returns on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a first trailer aired during the Bethesda conference at the E3 2016. Bethesda Softworks has revealed, as part of its E3 conference, that it will not be a sequel, but a rewriting of the franchise.

This time, the developer Arkane Studios, who is responsible for the design of this FPS game mixing with science fiction and psychological thriller. The main character is called Morgan Yu, a subject of experience to improve the human race in the space station of Talos 1 in 2032.

The Arkane Studios promises to provide more game details during QuakeCon, which will take place in August.

Prey is due for release in 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
