Battlefield 1 will propose a Server Browser
Electronic Arts has recently confirmed that, unlike Star Wars Battlefront, it will be possible to select a server for Battlefield 1 multiplayer parties. That is what to please the players mostly.
Recently announced, Battlefield 1 is the next part of the FPS game from DICE. Unlike its competitor Call of Duty, this sequel does not try to continue in a futuristic context. Rather, it will be a return to the core of the First World War.
The title is obviously waiting for its multiplayer axis. To reassure gamers, Electronic Arts has revealed via Twitter that the franchise Battlefield 1 shall include a server browser. For the uninitiated, this is the ability to select the server you want to play.
For fans, it is a rather logical statement since the previous installment already had this feature. However, with the notable absence of browser in Star Wars Battlefront, doubts were put on future DICE games.
However, the publisher did not specify whether this will be in-game browser or via Battlelog, or even if it will be available to PC players only. Other questions are unresolved, including the availability of dedicated servers.
Recall that Battlefield 1 will be commercialized on 21 October 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
