“This all-new story operation let’s players fight their way through LLC manufacturing facilities’ deadly traps and enemies to earn new skins, taunts, and chances to unlock Faction Commander Packs while pursuing their mission to restore Toby’s mech suit to its rightful owner,” was published by the developer in a press release.

Toby’s Friendship Raid is available today for Season Pass owners. Although this expansion in history can be purchased separately with 700 platinum game coin, when it becomes available to all.

Along with the release of this story, Gearbox unveiled the first images of Beatrix, a new playable character (number 30) that will be available in the coming months. You can check out Beatriz in the above image; note that it will cost 47,500 credits or the use of a “hero key”, which is included in the season pass.

And if that was not enough, in the future over 3 story DLC will be released as well as a mode of free competitive multiplayer. Originally there were some rumors that Battleborn will be changed to free-to-play, but the developers denied and clarified the situation. Indeed, through his Twitter account, Randy Pitchford, CEO and president of Gearbox Software, said that the rumors are false and that there are “no plans” to convert Battleborn in a free-to-play.
