Batman: The Telltale Series will include multiplayer mode
Batman will be the first game of Telltale Games with multiplayer elements, as revealed from the studio in a recent interview with Shacknews.
During the Comic-Con in San Diego, Telltale has announced that its Batman: The Telltale Series will also attempt to go into new territory for the graphic adventures of the company: will include, in fact, even the ability to play multiplayer online. The multiplayer mode that will be introduced in the game will allow thousands of users to interact with the player in possession of the copy of the game to help make informed decisions.
According to Telltale Games, players will have the help of others when making an important decision. “Now, from two to 2,000-plus people can help the player make decisions,” said the head of Job Stauffer Communications. “We are now turning all of Telltale’s games into a live interactive multiplayer experience,” he said.
Those who activate the feature of Crowd Play will receive a web address where other people will have the opportunity to vote, and it may also be the most voted option carried out automatically.
The first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series will arrive on August 2 to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, as well as iOS and Android devices. The plan is to finish the season before 2017.
