We learn that Warner Bros. is poised to announce a new version of Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City on PS4 and Xbox One, through a leaked image and listing on the PEGI website.

Particularly successful, the Batman Arkham series highlighted the Black Knight of DC Comics, offering a successful ambience and good graphics. The publisher Warner Bros. seems to be planning to repeat the first two parts of the license, namely Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City on PS4 and Xbox One.

Indeed, the British site Eurogamer got its hands on the existence of Batman Arkham HD Collection via an employee of the GameStop stores chain.

The photo highlights against this compilation – including all DLC – coming on gaming consoles as of June 10, 2016.

If the information has not been commented by the publisher, the site of the PEGI lists recently some Batman: Return to Arkham – Arkham Asylum on PS4, a sign that the new edition is planned.

It seems therefore Batman Arkham Origins will stay out, which itself was included in the compilation of the past generation released before it went on sale with Batman Arkham Knight. This title served as a prologue and even incorporated multiplayer developed by Splash Damage, but its core work was made by the team at Warner Bros Montreal. Despite being based on the gameplay mechanics already settled by Rocksteady, it did not get the same level of user satisfaction and generally thought of it as the worst of the four albums that make up the Arkham series.
