Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Crash Fix:
Game crash is one of the most common issues. You will get an error message as ACS.exe has stopped working after the game crash. There is some simple workaround that you can try to resolve the issue given below:
- Check the Minimum System Requirements before launching the game. Turn of background processes through Task Manager.
- Launch Steam > Game Library > Right click on Assassin’s Creed Syndicate > Local > Verify Game Cache. If this does not help uninstall the game, and then reinstall it back. And before launching Verify Game Cache once.
- Check any updates for Games if any that would help in fixing the issue.
- Update your video drivers. Nvidia has released Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Game Ready Drivers for better performance. Just click the above link and install it. And then test the output.
- Sometime the issue is due to high graphics properties. The game will not be able to optimize settings due to some issue. For that you have to delete AC.ini file. This file is located in C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Instead of deleting just cut/paste the file somewhere else on your desktop and launch the game back. You can also modify the game resolution through this file. Go in DisplayWidth=1280, DisplayHeight=720 and reduce this to 1280×720. And then start the game.
- If you are using Uplay then exit the game first. And then right click on UPlay and choose Run as Administrator.
ACS.exe Stopped Working Solution:
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has another major issue that is reported by many users. It is ACS.exe stopped working. There are some small workaround below that would help you in fixing the issue.
- Turn of your antivirus software first. And then try back.
- Disable unwanted programs from startup. Click on Start and in the Search box type Run. Then type msconfig. Go in Startup and turn off unwanted services.
- Turn off any software that overclocks the system. Also disable screen recorder.
- Install the latest version of DirectX and VC++ in your system. Verify the version before installation.
- Reason behind crash is game Asseto Corsa if you had played this before. A very informative solution from Steam forums. You have to go in Nvidia Inspector first. And there you have to go in Asseto Corsa Profile and then you have to remove acs.exe. Then you have to go in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Profile and then you have to remove acs.exe and then you have to re-add this manually and test back. Skip this step if you had not played Asseto Corsa.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate No Sound:
- In some cases there will be issue with sound. For that you have to update to the latest audio drivers in your pc. You can do that by running the latest motherboard drivers available on its manufacturer’s website.
