The game Allison Road has been canceled, as confirmed by the studio of Lilith. The project was born as a spiritual successor to the demo of P.T. of the failed Silent Hills that sought financing in Kickstarter, but without success.
Lilith Ltd officially announced on Twitter the cancellation of Allison Road, a cold shower for all those who hoped for a return of P.T./Silent Hills, to which the title seemed patently inspired. However, Team17 decided to take over the project and fund it and publish it. It was scheduled to debut in 2016.
In late 2015 it was speculated that this title was compatible with PlayStation VR, a virtual reality system for PlayStation 4, which will hit stores in the last months of this year and even Team17 expressly included in their plans for 2016 in PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
So far the studio has not explained the reasons that led to the cancellation of the project, but emplaced to be attentive to the coming days. “Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. The message seems to indicate that there has been external reasons that have forced the cancellation of the game, but we will have to wait for a few days until the official announcement to know the real reasons that has ended the game.
