Acquire has published a series of new images taken from Akiba’s Beat, after Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed recently announced for Sony PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Acquire has shown the first images of Akiba’s Beat, a sequel to Akiba’s Trip for PSP and Akiba’s Trip 2 for PS4, PS3, PS Vita and PC, known in the West as Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed.
This action RPG is directed by Kohta Takano and will have the character design of UCMM and the main theme duet sung by idol ClariS. It follows a “serious” story – unlike of the former game – involving seven players on the neighborhood streets of Akihabara, full of strange illusions that are mixed with reality.
These illusion not only distorts the appearance, but also daily life. Asahi and his friends eroded by delusions and where Sundays are repeated, which will be repeated in a loop. The “palaces of illusions” will be the battlefield, and the group must conquer these mazes.
Akiba’s Beat will be launched this winter in the West for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. You can also check out a short gameplay video that is running at the background of the official website below:
