Originally developed by the Pitfall designers in 1990 on the NES, A Boy and his Blob is back on center stage as part of a remake released in 2009 on Wii. Bearing the same name, this new version signed by WayForward is preparing to land on new platforms.

Indeed, Majesco Entertainment announced that A Boy and his Blob will be sold on 19 January 2016 on PC, PS Vita and PS4, followed by the Xbox One on January 20.

This is a puzzle/platform game in which a young boy is helping a Blob to save the planet Blobolonia, the population of the latter being terrorized by a terrible evil emperor. You will need to solve this whole bunch of puzzles using your sidekick and new friend (Blob), which by swallowing some candies can take various forms. These changes enable you to progress in your particular adventure, as when transformed, eg; trampoline, ladder or canon.

This new version of the adventure game on mixed platforms benefit of finer graphics through better definition and a display of 16:9. Obviously, there are valuable skills to solve the puzzles designed by the developers, knowing that we are promised forty levels to explore.

The publisher has released a first trailer for this new version of the game.
