Halo Reach PC Beta Leaked, But Players Will Get Banned If They Play It

The Halo series is about to arrive on PC, chapter by chapter, after being available for years in the Xbox One version. Before its official release, however, a series of tests are planned to perfect the final details. In these days the beta of Halo Reach, the first title that will be published in the Halo The Master Chief Collection for PC, is underway.

The number of participants, however, is extremely limited: according to information, there are only 1000 among the many registered in the Halo Insiders program. However, this did not prevent the client created for this beta from being shared online illegally, thus also allowing others to access the beta version of the game: however, be careful, try not to play it, because if you do then your account will be banned and you will lose access to Halo Insiders.

Immediately after the leak, Tayler “Postums” Davis (community support and engagement officer of 343 Industries) commented on the issue via Halo Waypoints. Here are his words, in translation: “It has come to our attention that the Halo Insider flight has been illegally distributed online. If you download or play this illegal copy, we have the right to ban all associated accounts and remove you from all current or future 343 programs. The Microsoft Service Agreement can be found here.”

The beta ends today, so your chances of testing the game are still very limited. In any case, it’s not worth losing your accounts just for a beta, don’t you think? Halo Reach will release in full version on PC and Xbox One (not present in the console collection) on a date yet to be defined. The developers said long ago that all chapters will be released by the end of the year.
