Woman killed by Pokémon Go-playing truck driver
According to the police reports, a woman died in Japan after a driver playing Pokémon GO ran his truck over her. By going distracted, a guy with his car hit 2 older female pedestrians, and one of them is still in serious condition in hospital.
Pokémon GO is undoubtedly one of the games of fashion that is making many people in the world to enjoy themselves. But beware, just the fact that it is played in the middle of the street making the user to exercise extreme caution by not ending up disturbing others. However it seems that there are people who do not heed this warning. Unfortunately, Pokémon GO has written one of the saddest episodes in its history that has since caused the death of an elderly woman in Japan.
As reported, a distracted driver while playing Pokémon GO in his vehicle ran over two women killing one of them and leaving the other on in serious injuries.
The driver, a 39-year-old man, confessed to the Japanese police that he was playing Pokémon GO while driving. The National Police Agency said that the individual is arrested while the case is investigated and clarified that it is the first fatality related to the mobile application of Niantic and Nintendo.
According to various media reports, the woman who died was 72 years old and the other found in serious condition in hospital is 60 years old.
It should be noted that the same application warns players should watch around when they are playing. In fact, Pokémon GO asks its users not to use the app while driving.
