If you are facing stuttering issue in this game then you must go in the graphics settings and try to reduce game resolution. Also reducing Game Shadow, Texture Quality, etc; will help. The option is available under the graphic setting of Witcher 3. Nvidia Hairworks offers you more realistic characters with dynamic movement of tessellated hair strands. This is not something that you are really looking for if your game is working a bit slower or if you have a performance problem. This is just to boost characters hair graphics adding realistic approach. You can turn it off. This option is available under the Hair Works option. You can turn it off entirely or you can enable it for Geralt only. That means Geralt’s beard and hair will be a bit more realistic. Or you can turn it on for all. Motion Blur or Blur is only to enhance your aim accuracy when you are attacking any creature in the game. The settings are under Blur and you get two options there. They are Radial and Gaussian Blur. It is best to turn it off.
Chromatic Aberration –
- Add an old type of visual look in game

This is a just another enhancement settings. If you had seen old photos that are taken from outdated camera lens which has distorted colors on it, then you will easily understand what this is. This setting is not really needed.
Depth of Field Performance –
- Put distant object on Out of Focus
- Good for low resolution gameplay
When this option is turned on, long distance object will be out of focus. It is ideal for those who are playing games on low resolution.
Detail Level –

This feature will add more detailed scaling in the game. For example if you attack someone the blood on it will be more clearly visible. The same is applicable to other stuff also. It also does not put much impact on the game output. Just a tiny enhancement.
Foliage Visibility Range –

Foliage Visibility Range works for the game elements like grass, forest, weather, etc. It will give more detailed environment depending on the settings. It has four option to choose – Low, Medium, High and Ultra. At ultra you can get very realistic graphic conditions but also this requires high GPU power. So your fps quality will fall.
Grass Density –

The option, as the name itself says, just adds more grass to the scene. It is light weight and has four options to choose from. They are Low, Medium, High and Ultra.
Light Shafts –

Light Shafts will make the light trays or you can say beam clearer when they fall on any object. This does not put any great impact on the game output.
Number of Background Characters –

- Can slow down game on high resolution
As the name suggests, you can increase the background characters of the game. The more you increase the more graphic card will be used up if the quality is set to highest. You can choose from pack of 75, 100, 130 or 150.
Shadow Quality –

Under Shadow settings you also get another option to modify the Shadow quality of the game. You can simply adjust 4 levels of shadow visibility. They are Low, Medium, High and Ultra.
Sharpen –

Terrain Quality –
