The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is undoubtedly one of the titles that require less of a presentation in the current-generation gaming. Developed by the Polish CD Projekt RED, it has reached one million copies pre-ordered, an impressive milestone on a balance that was expected to be given the nature of free roaming that seems to have been made optimally especially in this third installment of the saga.
Well today a news has come to our ears that will make you smile and breathe a sigh of relief for all holders of the next-gen console from Microsoft. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will turn into 1080p on Xbox One, all thanks to a patch that will be released just on day-one of the title. This resolution will be stable during most of the normal exploration depending on the processing requirements of the game.
For the below video they have said “The video you’re now watching is grabbed directly from an Xbox One console. We’ve been working to give gamers an even better experience on Xbox One and, on day 1, we’ll bring you dynamic scaling from 900p to 1080p. We’re not much more than a week before launch, but we’re still fighting for every line of code — we want gamers to get the best possible experience we can deliver.”
That said, we remind you that starting today you can already start downloading the game, if it had been pre-ordered, on both portals of Steam and GOG.com, obviously in order to play the title you will still have to wait for the official release date, ie; next Tuesday on 19 May. We will also like to remind that The Witcher 3 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and its release will be followed by sixteen free dlc during the course of 2015 which will add the expansions course that can increase the longevity of the title and offer many hours of additional fun.
