Super Mario Run available on Android in March

Do you want Super Mario Run, but do not have an iOS device? Relax, you will not have to wait much longer to play it, because it will come to Android before the end of March.

Nintendo, the production of mobile and creator of the famous plumber video game franchise, announced recently by a tweet that Super Mario Run will be available on the Google Play Store to be downloaded on Android devices in March 2017. That would be three months after the launch of the game on the App Store; since then, iOS users have been able to play it exclusively.

This news was shared by the official account of Nintendo on Twitter. There, the company did not specify which day Super Mario Run will debut on Android but simply said that it is going to debut sometime in March 2017.

As you know, Super Mario Run debuted in December on iOS devices and reports estimate that it has been downloaded over 90 million times. However, its monetization model (free-to-start) has been the culprit that has not generated the profits that investors expected.

It is important to note that before Super Mario Run, another Nintendo title will come to this operating system. We are talking about Fire Emblem Heroes, strategy game that will arrive on Android on February 9 and will be available later on iOS devices.
