Through an entry on the PlayStation Blog, Sony Interactive Entertainment announces that the system update 4.5 will arrive soon for PlayStation 4. To make sure you have no problems in its launch, Sony will release a beta of this update and you can sign up for the chance to try it.
In case you are chosen, you will receive an email from Sony Interactive Entertainment where you will be notified. So, make sure your PlayStation Network account is linked to a valid email address.
The bad news is that, for the moment, Sony did not share what news we can expect from the next firmware update for your console. We will keep you informed of the information shared by the company.
The last major firmware update for PlayStation 4 – 4.00 – arrived in September 2016 and added several options that were ordered by the screaming fans. Among them are the ability to sort games in folders, in addition to a new and redesigned quick menu.
