PS4 Slim Images Leaked on Auction Site: Rumor

This morning, some users began circulating on the net images of what, apparently is a new model of PlayStation 4.

The first pictures, in which the box appears only come from the site Gumtree (now being removed), where a user plans to auction the console for more than £295 GBP. However, after contacting the seller, Polygon published other captures where we see the device in question.

Apparently, the main differences with the original PS4 is that, besides being thinner, the new model has physical buttons and their corners are rounded. Other than that, the box indicates that the system has 500 GB of storage, and that its origin is Arab or perhaps European.

It is clear that, probably, this is not the optimized PS4 to run 4K and VR games that Sony has been working under the codename of NEO. According to the description, it is simply a revision with the same capabilities as the original console.

Obviously this does not stop being called as a rumor until Sony officially confirms it, but then we leave you with all the photographs, for both the box and the console, that you can judge for yourselves.

Recall that Sony has planned to carry out the PlayStation Meeting in September, which will allegedly show the PS4 NEO. If pictures do not lie, it is possible that the company will also announce the PS4 Slim at the event.
