Sony has revealed the arrival of the very next video game streaming service of PlayStation Now on Windows and Europe. At the same time, the manufacturer revealed an adapter that will use the joystick of the PS4 on PC and Mac.
Upstream of its event taking place on 7 September in New York, Sony Computer Entertainment announced the upcoming release of PlayStation Now on PC (Windows only). As a reminder, this cloud gaming service allows you to play many games of PS3 or PS4 via streaming, and through a monthly subscription.
Also, it will be possible to play over 300 games for the PS3 on PC catalog from August 24, 2016 in Europe. For now, only the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands are concerned, but soon the manufacturer intends to propose this solution in other countries.
To benefit, you should download the compatible application on Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, and have a machine equipped with a minimum of an Intel Core i3 processor clocked at 3.5 GHz, or AMD A10 APU clocked at 3.8 GHz and 2 GB of RAM.
To accompany the announcement, Sony Computer Entertainment revealed the release of a USB wireless adapter to use the DualShock 4 controller on PC and Mac. This adapter will be available from September 15, 2016 at a price not yet confirmed.
The arrival of PlayStation Now on PC is still a historic event for a sector, that of the console, which is experiencing a period of major changes that could compromise its nature.
