DeNA has confirmed that it will launch a “new and exciting smartphone game” based on the Pokemon license in collaboration with The Pokemon Company during the current fiscal year, that is, before March 31, 2020.
The details of the game and its release will be known soon. The success of Pokemon Go, a 2016 augmented reality game of Niantic, multiplied the success of one of Nintendo’s best-known sagas.
Both companies have partnered to develop a new and exciting game for mobile devices to be launched in March 2020, if everything goes according to plan. Mochizki adds that we will have more details about it when it is “appropriate”, so for the moment we can only wait to get an idea of what they are up to.
Today the movie Detective Pikachu is released, which is inspired by the game of the same name – something different from the traditional saga – and after the release last year of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Let’s Go, Eevee! This year On Nintendo Switch will come Pokémon Sword and Shield, which will take us to the Galar region, inspired by the United Kingdom, offering us new adventures and stories.
