Metal Gear Solid fan makes VR Museum bringing in David Hayter
The designer of the canceled project “Shadow Moses” has announced its new project called The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid. The graphics engine of Unreal Engine 4 will be used again, while providing support for virtual reality. First trailer is put online.
Developed over many months by a fan of Metal Gear Solid, “Shadow Moses” project appeared as a remake of the beginning of the adventure game of Hideo Kojima in 1998, performed with the graphics engine of Unreal Engine 4. The project was canceled in March 2016, following an intervention of the publisher Konami.
“iRam Gamer”, the designer of this remake, is back with the announcement of its new project called The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid. This work shows the efforts with Shadow Moses, but offers an experience in subjective view of the iconic levels in the saga of Kojima.
In addition, it is confirmed that the project will use the virtual reality headset and will be offered as a free download to gamers. Best of all, David Hayter, the former official of dubbing the voice of Snake, participates in the project.
The release of The Fan Legacy: Metal Gear Solid is planned for May 2016 on PC. Meanwhile, checkout the first trailer of the project below:
