Dying Light 2 Campaign Will Be Playable in Co-op With 4 Players

The developers of Dying Light 2 revealed that the game’s campaign could be played entirely in cooperative mode for upto four participants.

When Dying Light 2 was introduced, it was confirmed that the new video game of Techland would bet again on the cooperative for four players, and in a recent interview, the Polish studio has highlighted how well this option worked in the original title. About 35% of fans enjoyed the multiplayer in Dying Light, which is a very high figure considering that it is not a cooperative video game in itself.

“About 35% of people have experienced Dying Light in co-op, which really is a huge number for a game that wasn’t a co-op game in itself. You can play the whole story [of Dying Light 2] in co-op; four players maximum,” said lead game designer Tymon Smektala.

After the success of the first title, it was normal for Techland to bet on the cooperative for four players in Dying Light 2, which will allow us to complete its entire main campaign in the company of friends. “In co-op you know who the host is. The host makes the decisions for the game. But the next day if your friend invites you to their world you might see very different things,” Smektala said. This is something that Techland already talked about recently, when they extolled the wide variety of contents of the game.

In recent news, it was confirmed that the game will be distributed by Square Enix. On the other hand, Techland confirmed that “it is almost impossible to tell” the duration of the game, which could be 15 to 50 hours long.

We remind you that Dying Light 2 will release in Spring 2020 (in between March to May) on PS4, PC and Xbox One. What do you think about it? Tell us in the comments below.
