Destiny 2 PS4 exclusive content will arrive on Xbox One and PC in 2018
At the Sony conference in E3 2017, Activision revealed that Destiny 2 will have exclusive content for PlayStation 4. As with the first installment of the series, this exclusivity is temporary, so users from other platforms will be able to enjoy this content before it ends 2018.
Luke Smith, director of Destiny 2, has shared this news on his Twitter account by ensuring that “Destiny 2’s PlayStation exclusive content will arrive on Xbox One and PC in 2018.” Unfortunately, the creative did not elaborate on this, but if we take into account that Activision revealed that the exclusivity would last at least until fall 2018 (ie, between September and December), everything seems to indicate that the period of exclusivity will be of one year.
As you know, Destiny 2 exclusive content for PlayStation 4 includes a map of the exotic weapons, the Strike mission, PvP Crucible map and more equipment and weaponry. Want to see how it looks? Check it out below in the video:
In other news, Bungie has confirmed that Destiny will focus much more on the story, a fact that seems to indicate they heard feedback from fans about the first installment. Also, the company explained why it had to delay the version of Destiny 2 for PC.
Destiny 2 will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, while its PC version will debut on October 26.
