Death Stranding will be present at Gamescom 2019, it has been confirmed. Geoff Keighley will be in Germany within weeks to host the “Opening Night Live” event – which will be broadcast live worldwide – and Death Stranding will be a highlight.
The title of PlayStation 4 will hit stores on November 8th and in the teaser of the event, you can also see for a moment an image of Cliff’s face, characters that came to life thanks to Mads Mikkelsen. Death Stranding will be one of the titles of this “Opening Night Live” and we will have a unique look at the game.

The event is scheduled for August 19, while Gamescom will take place on August 20-24 in Cologne, Germany. Keighley also confirmed that Hideo Kojima himself will be in Germany to promote Death Stranding at the event.
At this point, it is likely that a new gameplay trailer will be shown that will focus on another of the less explored characters in the game, such as Mama’s. We will know everything on August 19th, when Gamescom Opening Night Live will air at 8:00 pm.
