Dark Souls 2 patch to fix “Durability Bug” download now available

For the PC version of Dark Souls 2 a new patch is released, which is to solve the “Durability bug” and a number of other problems in the game world. What really happens in this Durability bug? When you swing weapons in Dark Souls 2, the durability of the item decreases with increasing duration of the fight from ever. Usually that’s not a big deal because the weapons can be repaired at the blacksmith, but with the PC version, the objects were much faster than broken in the reactions comparing with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The reason for the increased wear is for the higher frame rate, because oddly enough, the game calculates the durability loss based on the number of images displayed per second. And since the PC version runs at 60 frames per second, the (old) console versions exceeds to the two or three times, hence the durability loss is fast according to the height.
