Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Free-To-Play Battle Royale Mode Reportedly Releasing in 2020

There are many expectations set in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the new installment that promises to satisfy all fans of the war franchise. Over the years, the series has adapted to changes in the industry and has even followed trends such as the Battle Royale.

Given this, one of the great doubts of the players is to know if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will include a similar mode with pitched battles. Infinity Ward has not commented anything concrete about it, but said that for now, it focuses on a multiplayer niche experience.

In fact, Ground War was recently revealed, a mode for up to 100 players, but it will have important differences from a Battle Royale mode. Despite all of the above, a recent report indicates the opposite and indicates that Infinity Ward is working in a Battle Royale mode for the new game.

According to the YouTuber The Long Sensation, the hypothetical mode with pitched battles would be directly linked to the main game, so it would not be a separate experience that would be offered independently.

An interesting detail is that the Youtuber says that the mode will be free-to-play, so everyone could play it at no cost. It is important to mention that The Long Sensation previously has leaked game details accurately. However, it is not a piece of information that comes from Infinity Ward, so, for now, it is just a rumor.

On the other hand, the informant suggested that this section of the game would not be available at the premiere, as it would arrive until 2020 as post-launch content. If the information is true, everything indicates that the developers will focus first on the main modes and then plan everything for the arrival of the Battle Royale.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
