This morning the presentation of financial results of CD Projekt Capital Group Activity corresponding to the fiscal year 2017 was made public. In it, all kinds of information was revealed, among which we note an interesting detail: Cyberpunk 2077 is not the only game that they are planning to launch in the next 3 years.
What we are referring to is that, on page 26 of the report, CD Projekt RED mentions the plans it has for the period that will run between 2017 and 2021. Among them are the launches of Cyberpunk 2077 and “another triple-A story driven RPG”. The document does not include another mention of the project, so we do not know if it is something completely new or if it is related to any established franchise.
That’s not all since among its plans for this period is the “additional development” of the company’s brands to cover other media and markets. They also seek to continue to obtain sales of their existing products and expand their workforce.
In other news, this report also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will allow us to create characters of different classes and that it is a very advanced project in a technological sense. On the other hand, it was confirmed that The Witcher series has already sold more than 33 million copies and the platform on which it recorded better commercial performance was on PlayStation 4.
And to you, what project would you like CD Projekt RED to be working on? Do you think the studio will be able to launch 2 Triple-A titles before the end of 2021? Tell us in the comments below.
